Getting started on HiMarket

HiMarket is a Hong Kong marketplace for trading card singles — Magic: The Gathering and Riftbound, on one account and one credit wallet. Every listing is a real card, checked by our staff before it reaches the buyer; you trade at the listed price with no haggling, and you never have to arrange meet-ups with strangers. This guide gets you from zero to browsing in about two minutes.

Step 1 — Create your account

Open the account menu in the top navigation, choose Sign In, and sign in with your Google or Apple ID. Account creation is free, and we only access your email address and display name. (No account yet? You can browse the marketplace and even fill your cart signed out — sign-in is only needed at checkout, and your cart comes with you.)

Step 2 — Add your WhatsApp number

A WhatsApp number is required to complete a checkout — it's how we contact you about orders, drop-offs and pickups. You can add it on your Profile page now, or enter it during your first checkout. Adding it also unlocks the new-user welcome gift (HK$50 gift credits + HK$10 store credits) — request it from your Profile page.

Step 3 — Take a look around

• Search bar — type a card name for instant suggestions, or tap the camera icon to scan a physical card.
• Browse views — the top bar reads HiMarket › MTG › All Cards; the last part is a view switcher. All Cards shows everything currently for sale; the other views narrow it to Latest Listings, Trending Now, Standard, Modern, Commander or the Buylist. Within any view you can filter by finish, condition or price and sort by deal hotness. Riftbound has its own views under /riftbound.
• Card pages — click any card name to see every printing, every listing, and current buylist offers for it.

Step 4 — Understand the two balances

Everything on HiMarket settles in store credits (HKD). You earn them by selling cards, or top up by card or Alipay — including in the same step at checkout, so you never need to pre-load.
