How to buy MTG cards on HiMarket

Buying on HiMarket takes a few clicks: find the card, reserve it, pay, and pick it up (or have it delivered). There are no buyer fees — you pay exactly the listed price.
Step 1 — Find your card
Use the search bar for instant suggestions, browse All Cards or a format view from the top bar, or scan a physical card with the camera icon. On a card page, pick the exact printing, finish and condition you want. The deal badges (🔥 ⭐ 👍) flag listings priced well below the US market reference — see Market prices & deal badges.
Step 2 — Reserve it
Press Buy Now to go straight to checkout, or Add to Cart to collect cards from several sellers and check out together. You don't need an account to fill your cart — sign-in happens at checkout and your cart comes with you (Buy Now asks you to sign in first). Either way, your items are held for 10 minutes once you start checkout, so nobody can snipe them while you pay.
Step 3 — Pay (top up in the same step if needed)
Purchases are paid with store credits — but you don't need to pre-load any. If your balance doesn't cover the total, the checkout collects the shortfall in the same step — by credit card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay (HK$100 minimum charge), or AlipayHK / Alipay (HK$50 minimum).

Step 4 — Choose how to receive your cards

Tip: choosing "Add to Collection" keeps the cards safely stored with us — you can request pickup any time later, or resell them instantly without shipping anything.
Step 5 — Wait for the green light
If the card was already in HiMarket storage, your order is processed right away. If you bought a listing (the seller still has the card), the seller has up to 7 days to deliver it to us; our staff then verify it against the listed condition before it's released to you. If the seller doesn't deliver, the order is cancelled and you're refunded in full, plus 4% of the price as compensation credits — see Refunds & disputes.

What are my purchasing options?
- Add to Cart — collect cards from different sellers first, then check out together. When you press Checkout, we hold your items for 10 minutes while you finish payment.
- Buy Now — one-click shortcut: adds the card(s) to your cart, reserves them for 10 minutes, and takes you straight to checkout. Supports buying multiple copies of the same listing in one go.
Both buttons land on the same checkout screen — pick whichever fits your shopping style.
Do buyers pay any fees?
No — HiMarket does not charge buyers any fees for purchasing cards. You pay exactly the listed price (plus the shipping fee if you choose worldwide shipping — see Pickup & delivery).
The one exception is the buylist: when a seller fulfils a buy offer you created, you (the buylist owner) pay a HK$3 + 4% transaction fee on top of your offer — see How to use the buylist.
