Consignment: leave your MTG cards with us
Hand your MTG singles to HiMarket in advance. They sell as In Stock, ship the moment they sell, skip the listing cap and credit requirement, and cost the same HK$3 + 4% fee.

Consignment (寄賣) turns the normal sell first, deliver later flow around: you bring your MTG singles to HiMarket before they sell, and we keep them in a box under your name. The cards stay yours and the listings stay on your account — but buyers see them as In Stock, we pull and verify them the moment one sells, and you never have a 7-day delivery deadline again.
Consignment is currently offered for Magic: The Gathering singles. You agree to the consignment terms when you apply; please read them first.
Step 1 — Apply and bring the cards
- Apply online. Sign in and open Apply for consignment: read the terms, tick that you agree, and tell us roughly how many cards you have and your WhatsApp number.
- We review it. Staff look at applications within a few days and message you on WhatsApp once yours is approved — or if we have a question first.
- Bring the cards in. Come to HiMarket (Wanchai) — Room 2203, Easey Commercial Building, 253-261 Hennessy Road — on weekdays 12:00–19:00. We count the cards, do a basic condition check and shelve them in a box under your name. Cards with undisclosed heavy damage or suspected fakes are handed straight back.
Step 2 — List the cards
Either way works — tell us which you prefer:
- We list for you. Staff create the listings on your account at the prices you agree with us; they are stamped as consigned automatically.
- You list them yourself. Create the listings in My Listings as usual; once the cards are shelved, staff mark them consigned.
Consigned listings show a Consigned badge in My Listings. They do not count towards the 100-listing cap, and they stay live even with a zero credit balance — the fee simply comes out of the proceeds.
Step 3 — Prices stay in your hands
You can change prices any time in My Listings (single edits, bulk ratio pricing, or CSV import) and the new price is live immediately. If you would rather HiMarket keep your prices in line with the market, add us as a collaborator in your settings — only then can we reprice on your behalf. Staff tools never touch a consignor's prices otherwise.
Step 4 — The sale and your payout
When a card sells, staff pull it from your box and verify it against the listing, exactly like a drop-off. Your proceeds — sale price minus the HK$3 + 4% fee — land as store credits at that point and can be spent or withdrawn straight away (6% withdrawal fee). Nothing is required from you.
If a sold card cannot be found in your box, the buyer is refunded, your listing is cancelled without any penalty to you, and we contact you about the card.
Taking cards back
Message us with the cards you want back and we prepare them for collection at HiMarket (Wanchai). Please pause or delete their listings first so nothing sells while you are on the way. Sorting and listing is normally free, but if you take cards back within 90 days we may charge up to HK$3 per card processed — see the terms.
